Daivd Ross - Asheville Real Estate Development David Ross formed Falcon Development of NC, Inc. in 2003, a native North Carolinian, who settled into the Asheville area after receiving his degree in business from Warren Wilson College. David, a businessman and entrepreneur, initiated his development career with the commercial renovation of 545 Merrimon Avenue where he opened his gallery and frame shop, Blue Ridge Frame & Gallery.

The successful renovation of the historic Biltmore Hardware Building in Biltmore Village into the award winning, multi-use facility, Biltmore Crossing, is one of David's most satisfying projects. The lower floor of Biltmore Crossing is the location of the popular, upscale restaurant, Rezaz and the new café-wine bar, Inoteca. The upper floor provides tenant space for 14 individual, professional offices, including Falcon's. David's second gallery, Vitrum, featuring fine art glass, was located in an historic building next door.

These projects were soon followed by the acquisition and renovation of a building on Haywood Road which became the home of The Ideal Market and Café.

David's creative renovation of historic spaces, his success as a retail business owner, and his involvement in the promotion of retail business in Asheville drew other business owners to him for assistance in developing their projects and eventually led to the formation of Falcon Development. One of Falcon's first projects was an historic renovation project in downtown Hendersonville which was honored in 2004 with an award by the North Carolina Main Street Program for Best Historic Rehabilitation Project. The 1847 building is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been under the same family ownership since 1896.

David shares leadership and vision with two equally successful businessmen and entrepreneurs who bring their different, but necessary and unique, strengths and backgrounds to the venture.
