Falcon Construction won Best in Show at the 2012 Parade of Homes put on by the Asheville Home Builders Association.
The judges selected Falcon Construction’s (formally Falcon Development) house in north Asheville for its fine craftsmanship and excellent value, giving the Arts & Crafts-inspired home the award over homes that cost far more to build. Some of the features they noted in the four-bedroom, 3,000-square foot house were its solid custom mahogany front door, its well-crafted stone fireplace and windows trimmed in Douglas fir.
In the kitchen, custom quarter-sawn white oak cabinets. Custom stained glass windows through-out home, marble shower in bath, and custom woodwork.
